Detailed Travel Plan:
Day 01: Delhi ![]()
Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport holding the paging board of your name. He will transfer you to the hotel and assist you to check in at the hotel.
DELHI, the capital of kingdoms and empires is now a famous metropolis that boasts of fascinating mix of the past and the present. It is an archetypical example of the composite culture of an ancient land. It can well be said a window to the kaleidoscope - that is India.

Day 02: Delhi
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and venture out for the sightseeing tour accompanied by the Good English Speaking Guide.
Old Delhi - A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would include visits to these places
Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated;
Jama Masjid - the biggest mosque in India and

New Delhi - An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would comprise: Humayuns Tomb: It was the inspiration behind the architectural brilliance of the Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, the biggest Minarets of India. Rajpath the Ceremonial Avenue, past the imposing India Gate, is dotted with Parliament House, the Presidents Residence and ends with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.

Day 03: Delhi - Varanasi

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight to Varanasi. After arrival, you will check in the hotel in Varanasi. In afternoon, you will venture out on sightseeing tour of Varanasi.
Varanasi: Sitting on the western bank of India's holiest river Ganges, Varanasi is the ancient city of the world and the cultural capital of India. There is a Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the center of this city that houses the Jyotirlinga of Shiva, Vishweshwara or Vishwanatha. Millions of tourists arrive in this part of India to seek benediction and spiritual peace. Tourists from across the world come here for the darshan of the Jyotirlinga in order to receive liberation from the bondages of Maya and the inexorable entanglements of the world. A simple glimpse of the Jyotirlinga is a soul-cleansing experience that transforms life and puts it on the path of knowledge and bhakti. Vishweshwara Jyotirlinga enjoys a special place of significance in the spiritual history of India.
It is believed that a single a visit to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple is equal to all the visits given to the other Jyotirlinga which are scattered in various parts of India. Deeply and intimately implanted in the Hindu mind, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple has been a living embodiment of our timeless cultural traditions and highest spiritual values. The great saints including Adi Shankaracharya, Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Swami Vivekananda, Goswami Tulsidas, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, Gurunanak and several other spiritual personalities have also visited this place. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple is frequented by both the domestic as well as foreign devotees who seek to live in peace and harmony with one another. Vishwanath being a supreme repository of this spiritual truth thus strengthens the bonds of universal brotherhood and fellow feeling at the national as well as global levels. On January 28, 1983, the Temple was taken over by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh and its management ever since stands entrusted to a Trust with Dr. Vibhuti Narayan Singh.

Day 04: Varanasi ![]()
After breakfast, you will have full day to enjoy and relax in the spiritual city.
In the early morning on boat cruise, you can explore the River Ganges. Here thousands of pilgrims gather on the water's edge for bathing, worshipping and meditating. On stone platforms under palm leaf umbrellas, the Pandas-Brahmin priests preside over rites and rituals. On the boat trip, you will travel across various Ghats comprising the cremation sites. All the pious Hindu believes dying in Kashi (Varanasi) and getting cremated on the banks of the Ganges ensures release from the cycle of birth and death.
In the afternoon, you will be out on an excursion to the Sarnath. Sarnath is about 7 km from the city. Here, Buddha preached his first sermon over 2500 years ago.
Evening back to the hotel and overnight stay will be in Varanasi.
Day 05: Varanasi Khajuraho

In the morning, you will be driven to the Khajuraho after a nice breakfast. Upon arrival, you will check in the hotel with the assistance of our company representative. Afternoon will be spent at leisure.
Khajuraho: - It has served as the great capital of Chandela and now is seemingly a quiet town. The place is world famous for its Khajuraho temples erected during the Chandela period between 950 and 1050 AD. Their unsurpassable beauty and stupendous size leave many questions in the minds of the onlookers as to why and how they were constructed. These isolated temples are as old as 1000 years. The temples reflect the fantastic examples of Indo-Aryan architecture. They depict images of gods and goddesses, warriors and musicians, real and mythological animals and in great detail - women and sex.

Day 06: Khajuraho
After having a leisurely breakfast, you will venture out on a trip to the Khajuraho Temple.
Khajuraho Temple: In the temple architecture of India, the Khajuraho complex is considered as very unique and attractive. 1000 years ago, under the generous and artistic patronage of the Chandela Rajput kings of Central India, 85 temples, magnificent in form and richly carved, came up on one site, near the village of Khajuraho. The amazingly short span of 100 years, from 950 AD - 1050 AD, saw the completion of all the temples, in an inspired burst of creativity. Today, you can see only 22 temples of the original 85 temples, which could survive the test of time. These remain as a collective paean to life, to joy and to creativity; to the ultimate fusion of man with his creator.

Day 07: Khajuraho Jhansi Agra

After having a tasty breakfast, you can take a leisurely stroll to the town. Later, you will be transferred to Jhansi from where you can catch a train to Agra.
Upon arrival in Agra, you will meet our representative at the station. You will be escorted to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Agra: Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire - giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat {seat of the Emperor}. Today a visitor to Agra is caught up in a world of contrasting edifices, of red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and quaint buggies, and that irresistible charm that this favorite city of the Mughal still retains. It is not surprising, that modern Agra still boasts of its Mughal heritage most evidently. A leisurely stroll down the narrow effervescent streets of the city will introduce you to the wafting aroma of Mughlai cuisine.

Day 08: Agra
Early in the morning, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour to the Taj Mahal.
Taj Mahal: Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder which is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist's visit to Agra. Made by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took 22 years to complete this architectural marvel. It was designed and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its striking designs and accurate symmetry, the Taj is also famed for its beautiful domes, rich carvings on screens and some of the refined inlay work that is ever seen. After a visit to the Taj Mahal, you will be taken back to the hotel for your breakfast.
Return to the hotel and enjoy a nice breakfast. Later, you will leave the hotel to start yet another sightseeing tour of the Agra city.
Agra Fort - Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. Inside this fort, you will come across Pearl Mosque. It is a major tourist attraction.
You will visit Itmadullahs Tomb erected by Empress NOOR JEHAN in memory of her father (The interiors of which are considered better than the Taj).

Day 09: Agra Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur

After breakfast, you will be driven to the beautiful Pink city of Jaipur. On the way, you will visit Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri: This is a deserted and sandstone city now, which was earlier built as a capital by Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. It was in the same century that a palace was also built here. On a visit, you will be able to notice the grandeur of this veritable fairytale city and the pristine conditions of the ruins.
You will also visit the Buland Darwaza. It is considered as the largest gateway in the world. From here, you will move towards Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur, you will check in the hotel.
Jaipur - The origin of the beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back to the 18th century, during the reign of Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber throne in 1699. Jaipur, today, is much known for reflecting the true spirits of Rajputana. In-spite of growing into a bustling metropolis, it still retains its character and history - A beautiful fusion of the yesteryears and modernity. It is called the Pink City on account of the extensive use of the locally abundant pink plastered stone that was so painted in the honor of the royal consort of Queen Victoria. You will enjoy your sightseeing experience in Jaipur to the hilt as visiting its invincible forts, majestic palaces, rich temples and verdant gardens is always pleasurable.

Day 10: Jaipur
After breakfast, you will venture out on an excursion to Amber Fort situated in the outskirts of Jaipur.

Amber Fort Palace - Amber is the traditional romantic Rajasthani fort palace. In 1592, Man Singh I has started its construction and later, his descendent Jai Singh I, completed it. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression.
Move ahead for sightseeing tour of the city.
City Palace - An interesting mix of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architectural patterns, the City Palace covers one-seventh of the area in the fortified city. It consists of the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
Jantar Mantar - This is the biggest and the best conserved of the five observatories erected by Jai Singh II in different parts of the nation. This observatory, comprising huge astronomical instruments, is still in use.
Hawa Mahal - The intricate facade of this "Palace of Winds" is recognized as an eminent landmark in the city of Jaipur. Its five-storey structure that boasts of sandstone plastered pink and beset with fine trelliswork and spacious balconies, makes for an interesting sight to relish. The palace has 953 niches and windows.

Day 11: Jaipur Jodhpur ![]()

In the morning, you will drive to Jodhpur. After arrival, you will check in the hotel.
Jodhpur: Perched on the edge of the Thar Desert, the city of Jodhpur has many tales of antiquity that resonate in the emptiness of the desert. Once the capital of the Marwar state, it was founded in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha - chief of the Rathore clan of Rajputs who claimed to be descendants of Rama - the epic hero of the Ramayana. The city flaunts a massive 15th century AD Mehrangarh Fort atop a rocky hill which is about 125 meters high. The city is surrounded by a high wall which is about 10 km long and has 8 gates and countless bastions.
In the afternoon, you can relax in the hotel and pay visit to the museum of UMAID BHAWAN PALACE.

Day 12: Jodhpur
Have an early breakfast and venture out on a village safari in the jeep. Catch a rare glimpse of the rich culture and true essence of India. Abundant wildlife (game) and memorable moments of the great desert landscape fascinates one while driving along the countryside.
In the afternoon, a sightseeing trip of Jodhpur will begin with a visit to the Mehrangarh Fort. The fort that rises up a hilly scarp overlooking the city was erected on the advice of a hermit. Inside the Fort are a number of palaces added by successive rulers. In this palace, you will come across different kinds of miniature paintings and a cradle room. After this, you can pay a visit to Jaswant Thada Memorial.

Day 13: Jodhpur Ranakpur - Udaipur

Today, you will drive to Udaipur. On the way, you will visit Ranakpur. It is one of the largest and most beautifully conserved Jain Temples in India.
Ranakpur Temples the temples date back to the 15th century. Its 200 pillars, none of which are alike, support its 29 halls. The Temple abounds with intricate friezes and sculptures. Visits to two more Jain temples and the Temple of the Sun God with its erotic sculptures are also included here.
After visiting Ranakpur, you will continue your drive to the Udaipur.
You will reach Udaipur late in the afternoon. Evening will be free to spend at leisure.
The city of Dawn, Udaipur is an attractive land around the azure lake. It is bordered by the verdant hills of the ARAVALLIS. Painted in white evoking a sense of romance, Udaipur is considered as a place of striking sights and sound from which many poets, painters and writers draw an inspiration.
The cluster of elegant palaces, lakes, temples, gardens and narrow lanes punctuated by stalls, contain a glimpse of its heroic past that epitomizes velour and chivalry. Their reflection in the placid waters of the LAKE PICHOLA is an enticing sight.
Udaipur is the jewel of MEWAR -a kingdom ruled by the Sisodia dynasty for 1200 Years.

Day 14: Udaipur ![]()
Have a delicious breakfast and venture out on the city excursion.
The day will begin with a trip to the City Palace, which is largest in Rajasthan. You will also come across rich medieval Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-Ki-Bari or the "Gardens of the Maids of Honor".
The day will be concluded with a refreshing boat ride on Lake Pichola. From the lake, you will be able to bask in the unmatched views of the gardens that surround the fascinating Lake Palace Hotel and the two islands in the lake. Spend some time at the Jag Mandir Palace.

Day 15: Udaipur Mumbai- By Flight: IT 3158 (Dep 1425 Arr 1535)

You will spend morning at leisure. In the afternoon, you will be transported to the airport to board the flight for Cochin that connects to Mumbai. Upon arrival in Cochin, you will be received by our representative. He will escort you to the hotel. You can relax for today.

Day 16: Cochin Alleppey Kumarakom

Have your breakfast and move towards Alleppey. On arrival, you will check in the houseboat.
Take delight in the 22 hours of backwater cruise from Alleppey to Kumarakom that will travel through many canals and waterways up to the destination. The backwater cruise in a country boat is the best way to explore the villages and rural life. In Alleppey, you will be taken aboard your floating houseboat, a different boat with a bedroom and en-suite rest room for your comfort. While surfing on backwaters sipping a coconut, you will get to hear the spellbinding chirping of birds and occasional ripples in water. Do savor sumptuous delicacies cooked in front of you by your Kitchen crew. Spend the night on board the houseboat. Have a wonderful experience of the cruise on the backwater sailing through a labyrinth of canals and lagoons. It will be a pleasant experience to taste the freshly caught fresh water fish cooked for you on board.
About House Boat: Houseboats of Kerala are known as "Kettuvallam". These huge, ling and tapering barges were traditionally used for transferring tons of goods across kingdoms, with portion covered with bamboo and coir serving as a rest room and kitchen for the crew. A familiar sight on the Backwaters, these vessels are made entirely without nails. To make these houseboats, plants of jack wood, coir rope, caustic black resin and boiled cashew kennels were used. With careful maintenance they last for generations. Today widely and appropriately called Luxury Houseboats, (Kerala Backwaters) these consist of fully done up bedrooms, modern toilets, cozy living rooms, a kitchen and a balcony for angling. As you cruise down the canal you can see morning newspaper and mail delivery by boat. Vendors in boat go from house to house selling everyday provisions like rice, vegetables, oil, kerosene etc. with hundreds of quacking ducks around. Also, you will be able to relish views of the village activities, fisherman's activities and old beautiful temples, churches and old fashioned Kerala.

Day 17: Kumarakom Cochin

In the morning, you will check out the houseboat. From there, you will drive for a short distance to Kumarakom.
Kumarakom is ensconced on the banks of the noted Vembanad Lake. The Vembanad Lake with its majestic canals, streams and distributaries along its banks weave an intricate and enchantingly beautiful web. The gorgeous green of the fringed palms ripple in the blue waters and blend into wavelets.
Kumarakom it is a gorgeous backwater village perched on the shores of the enticing Vembanad Lake that is criss-crossed with curvy waterways and quaint cottages. An entrancing backwater destination, Kumarakom offers you innumerable leisure options. You can avail of boating and fishing facilities too here. Day 18: Cochin Mumbai ![]()

Have a delicious breakfast and set out on a sightseeing tour of Cochin.
Sightseeing tour of Cochin is included of a visit to the Dutch Palace at Mattancherry. It is noted for its wall murals that depict scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue is another site in the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The St. Francis Church is an ancient European church in India. The Santa Cruz Basilica was originally erected in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese traders. Finally, you will visit the Willingdon Island. It is named after Lord Willingdon and is the headquarters of the Southern Naval Command of India.
In the afternoon, you will be driven to the airport of Kochi (Cochin) to catch the flight for Mumbai.
